| Tieback/Micropile Drill Rigs |
|
Our tieback firm, Crown Drilling has designed and built tieback drill rigs for installation of rock anchors and regroutable tiebacks. We continue to upgrade the capabilities of these machines to meet specific soil conditions or tieback load requirements. These machines are able to provide continuous casing during drilling to ensure that no loss of ground occurs even in sand and gravel soils. This is extremely important as tiebacks are often drilled beneath existing buildings, utilities and streets. Klemm Tieback/Micropile Drill RigsThe Anchor Group recently added the Klemm 806-4 drill rig to its equipment fleet. This machine is compact in size, but not in power. It is able to drill cased tiebacks and Micropiles in extremely tight areas which are restricted by height and/or width. Air Track Drill RigThe small size of air track drill rigs allows them to work in extremely tight areas. They can be used for uncased tieback holes, micropiles and line drilling. |
