Phases 1 to 6 - Sheet piling, caisson walls, lagged shoring, caissons

This mega project includes work for 7 towers completed in various phases by The Anchor Group. The projects included 105,000 ft2 of lagged shoring, 15,000 ft2 of caisson walls, 35,000 ft2 of sheet piling. All shoring was braced by rock anchors drilled by Crown Drilling of The Anchor Group. The projects also included installation of 600 rock socketted caissons. Caissons were up to 102" in diameter. In excess of 3,200 m3 of concrete and 400 tonnes of rebar were placed in the drilled shafts.

The schedule for all phases of the work was extremely aggressive and required considerable cooperation between the various trades at these sites. The Anchor Group responded by providing up to 4 drill rigs simultaneously and associated support equipment on this project to expedite the schedule.
