Shoring, caissons, driven H piles,DCP tiebacks

This contract is phased over a 4 year period to accommodate the various road diversions and construction. 15,000 ft2 of lagging was installed for rail track and roadway protection. 200 double corrosion protected soil anchors (dcp) were installed to brace the permanent shoring. Support for the new bridges was provided by driven H piles which were installed by Banner Piling, a member of The Anchor Group.

Separate contracts were also awarded for high mast lighting and overhead sign bases. Caissons for these foundations were also installed by Anchor Shoring.

The shoring system at Carruthers Creek was designed and constructed to meet the rigorous standards needed for a railway support.
