Lagged shoring

This subcontract was awarded to The Anchor Group and included installation of more than 100,000 ft² of lagged shoring. The excavation extended into the shale. 350 soldier piles were installed at 10’ on centre around the perimeter of the site. They were socketted into the shale below the base of the excavation. The shoring system was braced by temporary and permanent rock anchors drilled by Crown Drilling Ltd.
